Andy sent us the following pictures and story behind his el tigre restoration.
I'm sending a few pictures of the finished restoration.
Sorry I don't have any of the before pictures but the sled was in pretty rough shape.
Mice had made homes in the airbox, some larger rodents under the engine, and a third had ripped
out a lot of the seat foam so I stripped it right down to the frame. I Powder coated the skid frame and epoxy coated
the larger parts. The seat cover was a reproduction from Atwoods. (I'm sending back for a new one)
Really enjoyed the whole process and learned a lot being my first restoration.
What's next... Well I would like to restore either a '74 El Tigre 440, or if I can get my hands on
one a vintage snopro.
