John Bogie sent us this picture of his barn find sleds.
Hey guys, here are a couple for your "Barn Finds" section.
1973 Merc Hurricane Mark 1 with 315 miles on it, and a 1973 Mark11 with 10 miles on it.
From what I can figure, the owner was half of B&B Sports in Sioux Lookout, Ontario, a Merc dealership.
He purchased the Mark1 in Dec. of 72, and the Mark11 in March of 73, then he quit the dealership or it closed,
then he moved to Owen Sound and parked the sleds. He had a contractor build an 8' x 10' garden-shed around them
and there they sat until Aug. 15, 2010 when I pulled them out.
He passed away and his children sold the house and where cleaning out the place when they found them.
